IPhone development mode – IPhone development

Help with JavaScript development on iPhone?
I’m making a JavaScript program for the iPhone. I’ve already developed a starting menu, and I’ve enabled full screen mode and gave it a Home icon so it has the native app appearance. However, whenever I put in a hyperlink in the code (using the tag) it opens them in a Safari window instead of in the web app instance. How can I get it to load new pages within the web app itself?
Wow, great help people.

You can search on Google “iphone java application development” and you will get – No. The iPhone will not support Java applications of any kind. Steve Jobs has been quoted as saying “Java’s not worth building in. Nobody uses Java anymore. It’s this big heavyweight ball and chain.”

The iPhone iOS does not have any built in support for Java. Still you could write a Java app for the iPhone if you are expert to develop or port a JVM and suitable runtime to iOS, and embed those with your Java app inside an iOS app. Or you could develop a Java compiler that would emit ARM object code or Objective C source code and use that.

Ipad apps 6 year old – Ipad apps

what to do on an airplaine for 6 hours?
im a 13 year old girl and in a week im going to hawaii with my family and bff. the plain ride is 6 hours and i dont realy know what i am going to do? i will have my moms ipad and my extremely old nano so if their any good pdcasts or apps or tv shows that dont require internet id love to try them.

Not sure why this would be considered a legal question, but if you were my daughter I would recommend practicing your spelling and grammar. Because at 13, you should be able to spell “plane,” “really;” you should be able to use contractions and capitalization properly; and you should know the difference between their (a possessive) and there.

IPhone development jobs in bangalore – IPhone development

What are the disadvantages of using alternatives to Objective-C for iPhone development?
I want to get into iPhone development, but I have an important question. There are plenty of alternative to Objective-C, but the real question is, why WOULDN’T I use them? Let’s take Titanium for example. It can be used to create native applications for multiple platforms, and not just the iPhone. Wouldn’t it be much better to learn to use that instead? Are they less flexible/powerful? What’s the percentage of iPhone developers that directly use Objective-C to make their apps?

iPhone development is a great and fun hobby, which can bring in a significant amount of income. When you develop an application for the iPhone OS, you want to make it as user intuitive and as user friendly as possible. The way you do this though is completely your choice. You can program an iPhone app in several different types of languages, I personally prefer Obj-C (or any OOP language) over, lets say, HTML etc. As you begin to develop applications, you will realize that using a Obj-C is a lot easier, and it creates a better outcome. Obj-C is harder to learn if you do not already have prior knowledge of an OOP language (preferably C, C++), but once you get the hang of it, you will find out it is a much better language than Titanium or HTML. Obj-C has more methods and classes, and most of the apple documentation is geared towards Obj-C, so it is to your benefit to use Obj-C when creating iPhone or Mac apps. You should probably purchase a book on Obj-C, I recommend “Programming in Objective-C 2.0″ (2nd edition) by Stephen G. Kochan. When I began iPhone development, this was the 1st book I read to get a better feel for the language. Then you should probably read a book that teaches you about Cocoa/Cocoa Touch and the SDK, I would recommend “Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X” (3rd edition) by Aaron Hillegass, and just keep in mind that while they’re might be a few disadvantages to Obj-C (the major one –> learning the syntax if you hav no prior experience with C/C++), Obj-C is still far superior than most languages, and I recommend learning that to begin your iPhone development career.

IPhone programming tutorial – IPhone programming

I need a framework in windows XP for programming iphone and ipod applications ?
Exists some programming enviroment in windows XP (no MAC) for building ipod and iphone application ? I need some links about this, tutorials, ebooks. Help me please.

Apple is a hardware manufacturer, they want you to buy their hardware. In order to write native iOS applications you really need a Mac. There are probably illegal ways of installing MacOS on a normal PC.

The only real and legal option for developing iPhone applications on an XP box is to develop mobile web applications for it.
